Pizza Dough

Easy, peasy pizza dough!

My parents and Grandma Stumpo  always made their own bread and pizza dough.  Of course, they never measured the ingredients, and yet, it would come out perfect every time.

I can still see my dad leaning over a huge bowl of flour, oil, salt, and slowly adding a pan of warm water with the block of yeast dissolved into it.   It was the best!  Hot out of the oven, drizzled with olive oil, salt & pepper...nothing like it!

Just the smell of fresh dough, rising fills the house, even before it's baked!

This pizza dough recipe is easy and great for pizza or sausage roll bread.  If you wanted to make individual garlic rolls, that would be another super easy choice.  Don't be afraid to use your imagination with this dough...breadsticks, calzones!   Have fun and enjoy the process too!

It's also great for Sausage Roll Bread...you can find that recipe on the blog too!
