Welcome to My World!

Well, my family and friends have been encouraging me to write a blog and post my recipes, ideas and funny stories that seem to occur almost daily in my life.   I don’t know if any will be interesting to anyone but us, but if they bring a smile, chuckle and some good eats to you, I’m all for it!

Me and my handsome hubby of 46 years!

You might want to know a little something about me…there really isn’t much to tell.   I’m a wife, mom, grandmom, and soon to be great-grandmom.   I’m excited to have another baby coming into our family, and also shocked at that new title in my  life...and pretty thankful I’ve gotten this far.  LOL!

I grew up in an Italian household, so “la famiglia” is very important to me.  I’ll be sharing stories with some of my recipes, so I hope you’ll enjoy them…both the food & the stories!  Right now, I have to get ready for work…yes, still working.   The good news is it’s a job I enjoy very much…hostess!   It’s great to meet people and watch them enjoy the good food we have at our restaurant…the only complaint I get is “Oh, I’m so full!”  Haha…sounds like home!

My faith in God is a big part of who I am.  I'm so grateful for a Savior who loves me unconditionally and gave His own life so that I may live forever with Him.  May I never take for granted what Christ did for me, and I pray that others will see the difference He's made in my life!  I am a child of the One True King!  Now that makes me happy!!!
